Timothy S, Guisewhite, PLS

Tim began surveying in 1998 in the low country  of South Carolina. After obtaining a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Trident Technical College he worked for a few major east coast based engineering & surveying firms. Over the years he has had opportunity to perform surveys in 10 of the original 13 colonial states. Tim and his family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in the Fall of 2011.

His experience in boundary retracement as well as his research of surveying history over the last few years has developed into a series of seminars that he has had the privilege of presenting to the North Carolina Society of Surveyors. Topics include: Colonial History, The Gunter's Chain, Compass & Chain Method and Procedures, as well as the application of modern technology to ancient measures.

Tim is also involved in his local community as the lead Pastor of Calvary Chapel Riverbend, a Christian non-denominational church on the northwest side of Charlotte. www.ccriverbend.org

Summer of 2017 Tim and his wife branched out to begin GPLS. Together they are excited to have a family owned business not only to provide for their needs, but to serve their community and provide for the needs of those who call the Charlotte region their home as well.
